About this event
Due to the wildfires in the Wrightwood area, we have postponed this tour. Please sign up if you're interested in going, and we'll let you know if the tour will take place or not. We have tentatively rescheduled this tour to October 19, 2024. However it all depends on the status of Wrightwood after the wildfires and weather permitting.
Big Tujunga to Wrightwood - September 21, 2024
On September 21st we'll be driving to Wrightwood via Big Tujunga Canyon, and the back side of the San Gabriel Mountains. This route has a different starting point then our last tour to Wrightwood in July. However, we chose this route along the back of the San Gabriel Mountains due to the closures on Angeles Crest Highway. We decided to re-run this section of the route because of the positive feedback from the folks who drove it back in July. This is a different way to get to Wrightwood. It's a very entertaining route.
If you choose the option, we will be having breakfast or lunch at our favorite Wrightwood destination, The Grizzly Cafe.
4 Door Porsches are Welcome!
We will meet at 7:30 AM and the first group will depart promptly at 8:30 AM. The driver meeting will be held at 8:15 AM
Please be on time!
We will let you know your Group assignment via email. Group assignments are random.
The destination of the morning drive will be the mountain town of Wrightwood, where we end the tour for breakfast or lunch at the Grizzly Cafe.
