Intro to Concours: Judging School and Concours Prep-workshop

Please join us at 9:30 AM at Porsche Silver Spring's amazing new Gen. 4 Porsche facility for our Judging School and Concours Prep-workshop
This event is being provided in support of our upcoming Concours season which will begin with the Annual Deutsche Marque Concours, which is held rte first Sunday in May, at Regional Park, Occoqaun, VA .
Steve MacKellar, our head judge, and Paul Vessels, Concours Co-Chair will walk through the various levels of competition, adress the various areas that may be judged based on the level of the event, demonstrate the team approach and how move through the judging sheet, as well as discuss classes, rules, along with do’s and don’ts during an event.
We expect the classroom time to run roughly and 2hrs at best, whith the brief prep demo another 1 ½hrs. We have the conference room until 2:00pm so there is some flexibility.
Due to space limitations, this event will be limited to 45 participants so please register as soon as possible.

The Cars & Coffee Event is hosted by Porsche of Silver Spring and runs from 9:00am -12:00pm
- The PCA Judging workshop & Concours-Prep is an overlapping event Scheduled from 10:00 am - 1:30pm in the upstairs conference room. We will later move to one of the service areas or wash bay for an actual judging run-through, and brief demonstration of prep-areas and/or a detailing demonstration.
- We would like to ask in advance for some volunteers to stay after to help with post-event clean-up given the graciousness of Dealership host.
