About this event
Registration is now open for this year’s Oktoberfest and new members drive on Saturday, October 5th. Back by popular demand we will be returning to Pineview Run for pace laps and lunch.
Pineview Run is a private track in a beautiful setting just south of Syracuse. We will be following a pace car around the track in a fun, fast and safe session. There is no passing so helmets are not required however if you have one you may want to bring it for some of the other activities available. After the laps we will have lunch in their clubhouse overlooking the track. We will also be there to enjoy the events of the “Mile-De-Cars” weekend where more driving opportunities are available. See the attached link for more information. You may want to stay after or overnight to enjoy the weekends events.

The event costs $35 for a car with driver which includes lunch and $20 for passenger (sandwich, chip, cookie and beverage). You will need to enter how many cars you are registering (one driver per car) and how many passengers will be in the cars. This is to let Pineview Run properly prepare for our group. Please register on MotorsportReg. The event is free for our new members who joined since October 1st 2023. New members will need to register by emailing herwigs911@frontier.com.
We will be meeting at the Waffle House/ Dunkin Donuts parking lot in Clarks Summit at 8:30 for an 8:45 departure. The address is 933 South State Street, Clarks Summit, PA. For the first part of the ride, we will be taking back roads. As we approach the state line, we will be getting on the highway. It’s about a two-hour ride to Pineview Run. We will have one stop at the rest area about halfway there. Please make sure you have enough gas to get to Pineview Run Auto Club, the paced laps, and beyond. Pineview Run's address is 2250 Case Hill Rd, Lafayette, NY 13084.
Please feel free to contact Randy Duckworth if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing you at the event. Randy.
