Drive to Nauvoo Itinerary Saturday May 16 - Sunday May 17, 2026
This event is open only to the Schonesland Porsche Cub members. Registration limited to a maximum of 24 cars.
Note: This drive will utilize the Ride with GPS app for turn-by-turn voice navigation in lieu of printed instructions.
Day 1
Main attractions: • Scenic Mississippi river vistas • Rand Park • Nauvoo Temple • Great River Bridge
Event start: (Driver meeting @ 7:45 AM, depart at 8:30 AM) Kwik Star 2030 21st St NW, Altoona, IA 50009. Please arrive 7:30 AM with a full tank of gas (or fill up there before departure).
Morning rest break: Casey’s General Store 1117 S Clinton St, Albia, IA 52531
Lunch stop: Riverbend Pizza and Steakhouse 603 1st St, Keosauqua, IA 52565, (319-293-9900)
Afternoon rest break: Casey’s General Store 326 Main St, Keokuk, IA 52632

Day 2
Main attractions: • Snake Alley • Scenic Mississippi river vistas • Pine Creek Grist Mill
Event start: (Driver meeting @ 8:00 AM, depart at 8:30 AM) Hotel parking lot
Morning rest break: Casey’s General Store 4701 US-61, Muscatine, IA 52761
Lunch stop and end of drive: Lighthouse Grill, 2142 Water St, Muscatine, IA 52761 (563-264-8682)
Note: The drive ends following lunch and you may return home on a route of your choosing. Note: Ride-With-GPS instructions will direct you to I-80 by the shortest route.

This event is classified as a "driving tour" and will be conducted in accordance with the Porsche Club of America's Driving Tour Standards. We will be using Ride with GPS phone app for navigation.
