Porsches in the Pines

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, we will be gathering once again for a round-up of our favorite cars.  What began many years ago at the home of David Stinchcomb, and was hosted the past few years by Bruce Phillips, has moved this year to the East Mountain home of Kim and Lee Stauffacher. They have invited us to join them south of Tijeras along the picturesque route 337 for a “bring-your-own picnic,” and ogle the gorgeous cars from 11am to 2 pm. There will be some featured cars to gain our attention. Although there will be no food provided, there will be coolers with water and soda.  If you want stronger drinks, bring your own.
We will have chairs on a level area for about 30 people, but since we expect many more, we encourage you to bring your car rally folding chairs and small tables.  Those of you who bring your own chairs will find beautiful spaces under the Ponderosas on the Stauffachers’ 5 acre property. Members from Santa Fe will have a pleasant drive down the Turquoise Trail on Route 14 to get to Route 337.  The Stauffachers are located at 14 Yucca Flats Road, across from the old Ponderosa Family Restaurant.  There will be signs to guide your way.
We will be raffling some goodies for the benefit of VIC, the Veterans Integration Center, our charity of choice this year.  So bring some cash to take a chance on Porsche posters, blankets, tool kits, and other good stuff; and support our Vets.

For this first year at our new location, we will be limiting this event to 80 cars; so get your registration in early.
