Lodging & Dining Changes for the Loess Hills Run to Sioux City, SATURDAY May 3rd

Schoneslanders have been driving the Loess Hills Scenic Byway since 2009. It’s long been one of our most popular trips. Why, you ask? Because the roads are just so damn good! This is one day of total bliss behind the wheel of your Porsche that will have you feeling exhilarated as you arrive in Sioux City, just in time to watch the Kentucky Derby with your Schonesland friends.

The big change to this year’s plan is a new location for lodging and dinner. We will have cocktails and dinner in the majestic Woodbury dining room. After dinner, you can party in the main bar or venture 12 stories above to the rooftop bar, with beautiful views of the city and the Missouri River. The dinner cost of $60 per person (inclusive of gratuity and tax) will be collected at the time of the registration.

You may return to Central Iowa any way you choose, but most drive the Scenic Byway back home since it’s mostly deserted on Sunday mornings.
