About this event
The GMR is pleased to start the 2025 driving season with another wonderful driving tour organized by Nico Seldon of Woodstock. This route has well-maintained curvy roads and some classic Vermont views. The tour will start and end in Woodstock, VT and will cover approximately 150 miles and take about 4 hours to complete.
We will assemble for the tour in the parking lot of the Woodstock Ace Home & Hardware at 452 Woodstock Road in Woodstock. [We will converge in area farthest away from entrance door — by the abandoned bank teller machines].
- We will begin gathering from 8.30am but we ask that everyone arrive no later than 9.00am to allow sufficient time to check-in, the driver’s meeting and vehicle line up for a prompt departure at 9.30am. Please be punctual as we will receive assistance from the Woodstock police to facilitate an orderly tour start.

- The tour will end with a short roadside stop and group farewell at Vale Field in Woodstock (arrival time is estimated between 1:30pm and 2:00pm.

Important Information for Participants
- Please arrive with a full tank of fuel. There is a Mobil station across from where we are meeting; a Shell in Quechee on Rt 4; and various other options when entering Woodstock.
- There are rest rooms available at the Mobil station (Maplefields) or at the Woodstock Welcome Center on Mechanic Street.
- Breaks - “Cash is King”. Please bring cash for the two break locations ($15-$20/person). At Stop 1 please plan to limit your orders to hot tea or ready-made scones.
- Tour will take place RAIN or SHINE.
